A yeast infection is not dangerous. There really isn’t an anti-candidia diet as we all have yeast in our bodies and there isn’t anything you can do about it. Yeast infections are vaginal yeast, thrush of the mouth, ringworm, jock itch, athletes foot, c-diff of the intestines as well as yeasty areas under the breasts or your abdominal folds. You have to see a doc for diagnosis if you think you have a vaginal yeast infection and it can var as to how long it takes to clear it up. You can eat anything you want when you have a yeast infection. I would avoid intercourse when you have a yeast infection as you could give it to your partner and he could give it back to you.

I haven’t ever heard of it being dangerous. It is sooo incredibly uncomfortable tho, I can’t imagine anyone going more than a couple or few days without having it treated. If it is not going away with OTC treatments, than it could be something else. You should then see a dr.

Do not have intercourse while you have a yeast infection. Your partner can contract it. then you will pass it back and forth. You should try monistat from the drug store or go to your doctor and ask for the one dose pill that will rid you of it! The infection should go away after a bried amount of time if treated. Do not leave it, it could get worse. It is not a disease nor it is dangerous. Almost ALL women get them. They come and go. Some people get them after everytime they take antibiotics. That is how common they are!

eating sugar while u have a yeast infection may not be a good idea as it can dehidrate u so drink lots of water.
once it is treated is should go away. if u use medication like monostat or canestin it can go away in a day or overnight.
most women would not want to have sex when they have a yeast infection and they shouldn’t because they can pass it onto their partner. once its treated its safe to have sex again.
about having one in the mouth, ive never heard of it but i supose it could happen.

Can be treated over the counter- Monostat etc. No intercourse for a week following. Eating yogurt helps reduce yeast infections. When taking antibiotics you should take acidophilus tablets usually found near the vitamins.

I have been battling this issue only 3 times in my life. But every time I had it, it got worse and couldn’t get rid of it unless I got a prescription from my doctor, took the tablets many times… I’ve tried everything.

Finally had a learning experience last week. My Shaklee distributor recommended garlic tablets and I said, heck why not. You’ve got to try this! Instructions and suggestions are on this website http://www.completeproductline.com/webpage.asp?id=87 Good luck, and feel well soon.

Some people consider the candida diet a hoax, but it’s really not a bad diet, nor is it hard to follow. There’s nothing weird to eat, and no drugs to take. Drink just water. Eat meat and vegetables, being careful to get the most nutrients you can, including enough fiber and healthy carbohydrate. When you are cured, you add things back a little at a time. However, start at the doctor, and talk the whole thing over with them before starting any of this. The time varies, up to several months, depending on its severity.
