candidiatis is a yeast infection and can be passed on to others. doesnt’ mean you got it from anyone. It is usually treated with monostat 7 (or similar anti yeast, anti fungal drugs) or other over the counter yeast infection drugs. monostat will relieve the itching really quickly.
