Candidiasis Archives

I think I may have thrush(Candidiasis or yeast) in the mouth and want to know what food I should avoid and what foods I should eat to help get rid of this. I heard yogurt was good. True?

Toxins may be defined as substances which produce physical, emotional, and psychological imbalances in an individual. We are consistently exposed to toxins every day. There are two types of toxins: exogenous and endogenous. Exogenous toxins are present in the outside environment, whereas endogenous toxins are produced as a result of imbalances in our metabolism.
There are two types of illnesses caused by toxicity:

1) Nonspecific illness

This includes poorly-defined symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, insomnia, bad breath, muscle stiffness, depression, allergies, etc. this group is very difficult to categorize, with many combinations possible. Many of these symptoms are also labeled as hypoglycemia, candidiasis, food allergies, and stress.

2) Specific illness

This includes better-defined syndromes having a characteristic set of symptoms. Some examples are: migraine, arthritis, psoriasis, influenza, sinusitis, immune deficiencies, tumors.

I have been diagnosed of above mentioned.
the doctor told me to use GYNO-DAKTARIN 200mg vaginal capsules once daily through 7 days…along with Ciproflex antibiotic, and vaginal wash 3-4 times a day. Is that enough?

I used the capsules, and now 2 hrs later I have this burning sensation. It’s not annoying, it feels like there’s some kind of mint lotion or something like that…is it normal?
How long will it take till things are good ?

I always have taken care of my hygiene down there, i wax, wash, clean. So idk what really caused it.
And I’m sexually active and do unprotected intercourse with my BF, who’s the only guy I’ve ever had in this part of my life (sexual). I’m 22..

Nothing is noticed in my throat nor my tongue.

What else should i do to prevent these infections from happening again? and for how long should my bf and i stay off intercourse noting that i started the treatment today.

Thanks..xx

and is it curable?

I’ve had a burning and itching on my skin above my genetalia for several months, no rash. Just burning and itching.

My doctor diagnosed it as Candidiasis (without scraping or doing an add’l lab work) and prescribed a couple of different creams and they seemed to help, but they didn’t resolve the issue.

I recently started on a tablet form of Nirozal (I’m on my 8th day). One a day, 200mg per day and the issue doesn”t seem to be getting better. I also apply a medicated baby powder on the area 3 times a day to absorb some of the moisture.

Has anyone been in this same boat? I’m getting frustrated at the situation and don’t know what else to do.

Thanks,

and is it curable?

I DON’T HAVE A "SIMPLE VAGINAL YEAST INFECTION" AND IF YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT SYSTEMIC YEAST DO NOT ANSWER! I WILL DELETE.

Moving on..

I’ve had Systemic Yeast for 3 years now and lately the left frontal portion of my head/brain has been having sporadic bouts of mild pain. It’s mild pain and this has been going on for like 2 days now, today would be the third day.

I’m on the Candida Diet trying to help starve the yeast.

But my question is, how would you know when yeast spreads to your brain?

Is that why I’m having these weird feelings?

What should I do?

No, I do not have HIV, Diabetes or Thyroid problems. All confirmed, conclusive, rock-solid negative results. I have been had ANY possible HIV exposures within the 6 month testing window.

I had a mild case of oral thrush for a while. This is a self-diagnosis. Doctors / medics did not seem concerned with the described symptoms.

I developed a sore throat that mimics thyroid pain followed by a mostly unproductive cough.

I occasionally cough up very little, thin, clear mucus. I sometimes get clear mucus out of my nose as well.

I did Amoxycillin for 3 days, then Zocef for around a week & a half. In addition, I was on several decongestants, anti-allergy, etc. The cough & throat symptoms seemed to diminish slightly / some while on treatment

The self-diagnosed mild oral thrush became angry, doctor-confirmed oral thrush toward the end of my treatment.

So now the throat & cough are back. I am trying to treat the tongue thrush symptoms with some clotramizole liquid.

One of the suggested answers that I received from this thread (see link for complete history of this issue) is that I may have esophageal candidasis.

I had a CBC done about 3 months ago and my granulocytes were slightly low (1 or 2 outside of the low threshold). And my lymphocytes were slightly high (1 or 2 outside the high threshold). I had recently gotten over a flu-like cold.

How is this treated?

Is it possible or LIKELY that I will have this for life?

I’m reading about mortality rates from candidas… is candidas the same as thrush?

Thrush can kill you?

I’m a 22 year old male and was recently diagnosed with a yeast infection in my throat. No history of yeast problems - no thrush or skin infections. Also no problems with anxiety or depression.

Blood work is all within range, liver enzymes are normal. Negative for HIV, diabetes, Celiac, reflux, parasites. I’ve had a slew of tests run (Abdominal CT, Ultrasound, Barium Swallow) and everything looks normal except for swollen tonsils and a kidney stone. An ENT said my tonsils don’t look cancerous.

I’m running out of money and having the same symptoms - dysphagia, excessive belching and bloating, weight loss (25 lbs) and no energy (I used to be a gym rat). Any ideas?

If this question grosses you out, then you shouldnt’ be reading it.

I believe I have a yeast infection. I’ve had a few in the past, and the symptoms feel the same. However, this go around, I’m using the birth control method The Nuvaring. This ring stays in place until you’re ready for your period. So how do I treat my infection with the ring? Is it safe to have both at the same time? (please don’t suggest oral antibiotics, as my insurance has not kicked in at my new job yet.) Any help would be appreciated!!
