My sister participates in the dance program at her school and she has athlete’s foot on her feet, she put Lamisil on it but now she has athlete’s foot/fungal infection on her hands as well, anyone know a way on how to get rid of it without seeing a dermatologist(because of her age)?

Ok, first off, she needs to stop with the over the counter meds immediately.

You need to go to the doctor who will then recommend a 5 to 10 day supply of oral antibiotic and topical cream where the infection is at.

She will need to use her own soap and towel when she washes her hands because it may be contagious; when she is cured you can either wash the towel in extremely hot water or throw it away.

Likewise with the bar of soap. It’s best if you use a dispensing soap, that way no one else in the family will contaminate themselves with your sister’s skin infection.
