A week ago my Doctor prescribed me Salicylic acid 10% for my fungus toenail infection. thats what they use on warts , so i dont know why he would give that to you for a fungal infection. I know that athletes foot and jock itch creme work for fungal skin infections….. hope you get better.
oh and get a second opinion , it doesnt seem the doc and his staff commuincate well…..
Salicylic acid dissolves skin and doses high enough to kill the dermatophyte that causes onychomycosis (nail fungus) would burn your skin something fierce. The way to eliminate nail fungus is to interfer with the critters ability to replicate. I USED to have it myself.
