ketoconazole works for candidiasis. but the regime and doses vary as per the system involved which you have not pointed out.
For example for skin infection the preparation is different, that is, topical, while for systemic involvement it is given per oral in a different dose.

yes it works but the oral ketoconazole is better than the creams allot of doctors don’t want to prescribe the oral form of ketoconazole because there is a chance of liver inflammation and if the person has a history of liver and kidney problems is best to use other medicine.
