My daughter just noticed today that she had white bumps on the back of her throat. Iv’e been reading up on it until we go to the doctor, and I’m pretty sure its oral flush. She’s 16 and has no pre-existing medical condition and hasn’t been taking antibiotics. Oh, and she does NOT wash her retainer enough.

My 3 month old has round white spots on the insides of her cheek (nothing on her tongue or throat that I can see). I can’t tell if it’s formula or Thrush. When I try to wipe it off (which is not easy with a newborn, as you can imagine), it seems to be wiping off quite easily. Her gums and the insides of her cheeks look slightly redder than normal. Could this be thrush? Or just formula residue?

P.S. Please don’t tell me to contact a doctor. I have called and I am waiting for a call back. I’m looking for info from experienced parents who have dealt with Thrush before. Thanks.

I just found my 21 month old to have thrush, she never has even had a diaper rash and does not suck a bottle.
But she does have thrush a little how do I treat this now so it goes away?

My right nipple is sore, and bright red, it also pokes out A LOT. I’ve had some shooting and dull pains in it as well.

My left nipple goes flat except when she is nursing, she has a hard time latching on at times, but it doesn’t ever hurt like the right one does.
My daughter is 4 weeks. My nipples were both cracked, and the right one actually bled, at first, but after using Lanolin cream and a nipple shield it healed, so I stopped using it.

I think I might have a bacterial or a fungal infection and it is realy messing with my lyphnodes. It’s a lot of pain and the ones in my neck and under my chin are swollen. I can’t seem to go No2 right and I have real bad gas all the time. I had a couple of polups removed about 2 months ago and it got real bad last month when my sides started to hurt and my No2 started to turn white. I was drinking about 4 or 5 20oz. bottles of water a day and was having to run to the washroom right away as soon as I would finish one. Then later on my testicles started to hurt like they were feeling that they were being pulled down. Are those also symptoms of leukemia ? Night sweats too.

I have been taking nistat 4 times @ days for 3 days and no improvement yet.

I recently came down with a urinary tract infection, and began taking medicine to get rid of it. Now, I’ve suddenly come down with what appears to be thrush in my mouth - my tongue is slightly white and very sensitive, the top of my mouth feels slimy, and it hurts a little to swallow. Is it possible that I might have gotten thrush by taking the UTI medication?

I don’t want to push my luck, the oral medication is Nilstat. Any docs around?

My friends cat, Mitten, brought in a baby thrush bird thingy but it can’t fly. We read that you can feed it soaked cat biscuits, but it wouldn’t! And we are very worried because we don’t know what it drinks and how and everything!!! Please help.

My son has 2 red areas that i thought was a rash until i asked a question earlier and someone suggested it may be a yeast infection. There is an area above his penis, its bright red and kinda circular with little red dots around it..then the other is on the side of his testicles it looks the same. It looks really red and painful but it doesn’t even seem to be bothering him? Do you think it’s a yeast infection or just a rash?
