I’ve took Canesten oral pills yesturday and i;ve also used the cream cos of the itchiness,and burning irrtation but i’ve been taking antibotic for 7 days last one was taken on wed thats when i got the thrush attack..so i think that maybe the cause?
yes i do have them after my periods but not a bad one
what is an home remedy to cure oral thrush for an adult woman?

My swordtail has some whitish discolored spots near his head and on his torso. Also, one of his pectoral fins that is near the discoloration seems to be deteriorating. The spots are not fuzzy at all, so that makes me think they’re not fungal, but this has been there for upwards of a week and a half, so if it was columnaris, wouldn’t he be dead by now? I got some pimafix assuming it was a fungal infection, but now I’m realizing that might not help at all? What should my next move be? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Edit: No other fish in the tank have it, so does this mean it’s not columnaris? Also, i have a featherfin cat and an iridescent shark, so I think aquarium salt is out of the question

and im too scared to put anything up there… weather it be the cream in the tube or those pessarie things.
i tried taking the oral tablets but it didnt work (my doctor also told me that tablets arent always as effective as the cream)

Thrush? What if I have a white coating on the back of my toung bt can brush it away with a tooth brush?

would this be considered thrush? I took antibiotics a couple of weeks ago and about a week later noticed a white coating on bac of my tounge but can brush it away with a tooth brush. Is this thrush? also have a little dry mouth?
I think I have thrush because I have a white tongue. How do I get rid of that condition?

i am very thankful for two people who let me know through Answers what my white tongue indicated.
I am healthy, drink plenty of water, have good oral hygiene, haven’t been on antibiotics, and am not experiencing a sore throat. I do get vaginal yeast infections from time to time. Thanks for helping me.

I have had this turtle since it was the size of a quarter, and (he) is about 4 or 5 inches long. he has a light, and he askes for food more often than everyother day, so i thought i was being good to him and i feed him about 7 or 8 pellets a day. no? too much??? but he is in a 35 gal tank, happy, swimming, basking often, but i noticed he has a shedding look to him. i let it go and figured it was normal (he is a reptile, thats what they do) but its still there! its not really cottony, and its thin, i can see through it, it really looks like skin. and it is only on his skin. his shell is beautifully green and brown, awesome colors, his skin has awesome colors too, just his neck and legs basically have this shedding look. i’m wondering if its a fungal infection, or just normal. and if i am not sure, would it harm him to do the salt water soaks anyway? do i use sea salt or regular salt from the kitchen??? any help is greatly appreciated. thank you sooooo very much, i love him and i just wanna make sure he is ok before it gets any worse…
