would this be considered thrush? I took antibiotics a couple of weeks ago and about a week later noticed a white coating on bac of my tounge but can brush it away with a tooth brush. Is this thrush? also have a little dry mouth?

i am very thankful for two people who let me know through Answers what my white tongue indicated. I am healthy, drink plenty of water, have good oral hygiene, haven’t been on antibiotics, and am not experiencing a sore throat. I do get vaginal yeast infections from time to time. Thanks for helping me.

I asked about the difference between anti fungals and antibiotics, and i’m still kind of confused. Does this mean antifungals could be catagorized as antibiotics, but the actual drug used to treat a fungal infection and a bacterial one would be different. Like penicillan, for example, will not treat thrush right?
