My daughter is 15 1/2 mo old. She has thrush. From what, I do not know. She wasn’t ever breastfed and the last time she had antibiotics was abt a month or 2 ago.
My husband, however, was diagnosed last week with chicken pox & mono. Could somehow (I don’t know how) that have something to do with it? She is on medicine that both the doctor & pharmacist said she will hate. She loves it. It’s suppose to sit in her mouth. She swallows alllllllll of it. So do you think it’s helping? I try swishing it around in there like I was told.
Thanks.
what happens if you have a bacteria infection and treat it with oral anti fungals?
i’m not sure what skin problem i have. my dermatologist says that i have acne with seborrhea but i’m preety sure i have pityrosporum folliculitis and that explains why antibiotics only made my acne flare even more.
I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and bronchitis. I was on antibiotics for 4 days. That was last week. Now the back of my tongue and throat is bothering me. Could it be Thrush? I felt the back of my tongue and I don’t feel bumps.
is Thrush common? or something I should be worried about.
I’ve been battling a fungal infection in my lower colon for 6 months. The different medications that my doctor has me on are proving ineffective.
Does anyone know of a home remedy that I could try in conjunction with my prescriptions?
Background info: This infection was NOT caused from sexual activity. I underwent a 4 month treatment for Lyme disease last year (cured of Lyme now); but the massive doses of antibiotics that was required also knocked out the good bacteria in the colon, opening the door to this infection.
I got thrush, possibly my body’s response to antibiotics. I wasn’t able to eat for a week, until today when i finally had soup. I know there are certain things i am not supposed to eat or drink, but my gums are itching like crazy. Would it be ok to swish H2O2? I have been taking my nystatin, yuck!, but i was also wondering if I HAD to finish it if the symptoms clear before i did. I hate that stuff sooo much!

I recently had a baby and had thrush on my nipples. I am now taking antibiotics for a sinus infection and have a vaginal yeast infection, thrush on my nipples, and athletes foot. Has anyone had this before? What did you do to treat it? What did your doctor say?
Thank you
I didn’t believe the article I received saying that my yeast infections could be from eating too much sugar until I noticed I started having some symptoms right after eating candy ( Yeah, I know I shouldn’t eat it). Anyhow, the symptoms seem to go away when I control my sweet tooth better. But would the same thing happen with someone who got the yeast infection from me. I mean, would the yeast infection be treated (with antibiotics) as an STD?
He has an awful case of thrush and they gave him some antibiotics for it but they haven’t kicked in yet. He won’t stop crying and he’s refusing to eat anything and every time he starts to drink something he screams. He’s pushing away Popsicles and I just don’t know what else to give him until these meds kick in. Help please!
My 1 y/o child finished taking antibiotics last week. She started nebulizer treatments this week. I noticed some some small white patches on the inner portion of her upper and lower lip. Is this thrush? How do we get rid of it?
