I’ve had a burning and itching on my skin above my genetalia for several months, no rash. Just burning and itching.
My doctor diagnosed it as Candidiasis (without scraping or doing an add’l lab work) and prescribed a couple of different creams and they seemed to help, but they didn’t resolve the issue.
I recently started on a tablet form of Nirozal (I’m on my 8th day). One a day, 200mg per day and the issue doesn”t seem to be getting better. I also apply a medicated baby powder on the area 3 times a day to absorb some of the moisture.
Has anyone been in this same boat? I’m getting frustrated at the situation and don’t know what else to do.
Thanks,
At the same time, can I take itraconazole to cure vulvovaginal candidiasis, and terbinafine to cure nail infection? Will it cause conflict?
i want to know what candidiasis is all about, if it is a sexually transmitted diseases or not. i also want to know the symptoms of a person with candidiasis and finally the cure for the disesase
So here’s what I know: Candida albicans can live in the body [I'm particularly interested in learning about candida living in the digestive tract but I know it can live throughout the body]. Candida albicans can cause digestive issues, yeast infections and oral thrush. Candida can be controlled with diet, anti-fungal medications and certain treatments.
Now, what I want to know is exactly what treatments would work in successfully ridding the body of canidida albicans? Also, I have read conflicting advice about fiber and Candida. Is fiber really beneficial to people suffering from Candidiasis?
I would love to hear personal stories on how people have dealt with Candidiasis, so if you have any stories please share.
i’ve had suspicions that i might have candidiasis but don’t know where to get tested… i’d rather know for sure before i do the diet
i went to my gyno and they said they didn’t really do it. they do for yeast infections that are vaginal but that’s not really what ‘m referring to.
Like, with a bad rash and lesions/sores? Specifically called "cutaneous candidiasis"?
I’ve already had one, and it was HORRIBLE. It lasted for about 2 weeks. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced it and how bad theirs was
I believe that a have a systemic yeast problem, which I really want to get sorted out. I have nutritional supplements and follow an anti-candida diet but i’ve heard that you really need nystatin to completely rid yourself of the yeast problem.
but doctors don’t believe in candidiasis, so how can i get a prescription for nystatin?
has anyone tried any of the yeast diets with success?
thanks!
This is a bit embarrassing…but, can anyone share solid information about candidiasis…not just a vaginal yeast infection, but the whole body type. I have done extensive reading and some of it can scare the padoody out of you….so many of the articles discussing this condition somewhere in the information mention HIV/AIDS>….has anyone been diagnosed with candidiasis and followed through with an effective treatment plan that worked…If so please share.
Thank you very much.

I am a man, 34, good health, not obese and eat a well-balanced diet.
I’m 11 if it makes a difference and the doctors of KU Medical Center have diagnosed me with Esophageal Candidiasis. I’m wondering if anyone can give me information about that. Thanks
