I am looking for a good site that outlines good and bad foods for yeast overgrowth- not for a certain part of the body but for the whole system. If someone could find a site that has recipes as well I would be so thankful. I think my whole family needs to go on this diet, we all have a majority of these symptoms. I am having a hard time finding a decent site- most of them are trying to sell a book .
I don’t think I could survive more than a day or two with just meat and green leafy veggies but as a kid we took so much tetracycline that I think I should give the diet a try and see if I feel better.
Im a 21yr old Female, I stareted noticing thining of my hair, then itchyness, red spots and now i noticed hair loss. I went to the doctor and she said I had inflamation in my scalp and what I had was Dermititis, she prescibed a shampoo called Ketoconazole 2%. But it burns. Would my hair regrow?? What other thing can i do to make it stop falling??? Can i change my diet?? Or stop my birth control?? I have the lowest dose on birth control. Please help…. Im becoming depressed because of it.
(the diet consists of veg and meat to starve off the yeast overgrowth)
i heard avocado/guacamole is good,almond/almond butter, pumpkin seeds, olive oil, but what else?
and is ALL alcohol to be eliminated?
I have tried many different remedies and still it persists. I do watch my diet as this is a major factor but it’s hard to keep on that diet -you basically cannot eat anything fatty, full of sugar, fruit, etc. Is there anyone out there that suffers from the same thing and did you find a good medication that really worked for you??
My doc suspected I had systemic yeast in my stomach whein I went to her complaining of chronich sinus infection & post nasal drip. I tried the diet for this past month and it works. I just don’ want to have to do this forever. The only supplements I’ve been taking are grapefruit seed extract & acidophilus. They’re supposed to get rid of the yeast as well. But are there any other supplements I can take to get rid of the yeast? I’ve heard of Candex & ThreeLac. Does anything else work? Or do I have to stay on the diet for ever?
My dog gets a re-occurring yeast infection all over her body, including her ears- - any suggestions?
About 2 years ago, I rescued a little Shih Tzu with quite a few medical problems. She has epilepsy, which is now under control.. but her worst problems are her re-occurring yeast infections & skin allergies.
My vet and I have exhausted all of our options. She’s on a very specialized diet..which has pretty much eliminated her skin allergies.. but I can’t seem to beat the yeast infections and it’s driving me crazy.
I do a yeast-controlling, medicated shampoo bath a few times a week..which helps very temporarily.
So far, the only thing that has worked is the medication ketoconazole. However, my dog can only take this medication for extreme flare-ups as, paired with the phenobarbital for her seizures, is quite hard on her little liver.
Any ideas or suggestions are VERY much appreciated. I’m at a loss here.
I seem to only find info regarding diet. I want to know how to do the FULL cleansing along with the diet. Isn’t there something you can do with Apple Cider Vinegar or something?
So here’s what I know: Candida albicans can live in the body [I'm particularly interested in learning about candida living in the digestive tract but I know it can live throughout the body]. Candida albicans can cause digestive issues, yeast infections and oral thrush. Candida can be controlled with diet, anti-fungal medications and certain treatments.
Now, what I want to know is exactly what treatments would work in successfully ridding the body of canidida albicans? Also, I have read conflicting advice about fiber and Candida. Is fiber really beneficial to people suffering from Candidiasis?
I would love to hear personal stories on how people have dealt with Candidiasis, so if you have any stories please share.
i’ve had suspicions that i might have candidiasis but don’t know where to get tested… i’d rather know for sure before i do the diet
i went to my gyno and they said they didn’t really do it. they do for yeast infections that are vaginal but that’s not really what ‘m referring to.
