WARNING! If You Suffer from Yeast Infections this May Well be the Most Important Message You Have Ever Read...

“Former Yeast Infection Sufferer Understands Your Pain and Frustration...Her Amazing 4-Step Plan is 100% Guaranteed to Permanently Cure Your Yeast Infections...Without Doctors or Drugs...!”

Back in September I woke up one night with what looked like a regular spider bite. It wasn’t sore but it was just a red bump. A few days after that the bump went away but it left my skin brown and dry looking (the patch is about the size of a penny). Now 4 months later the patch is STILL there.
I went to see a doctor and she said it was a fungal infection and gave me some steroid cream which I used for about a month and it seemed to do nothing for me. So I went back to the doctor and she gave me an anti-fungal cream which Ive been using for a while. Both creams have done absolutely nothing to make this patch go away.
Might this patch on my skin be something else? Any ideas of how to get rid of it? Do fungal infections just take a while to go away?

Hi,

For the last 4 months or so I’ve been having a reoccuring rash on my face. It’s always in the same place: just beside my nose.
I’ll try to explain it as best i can. It’s red, itchy, irritatting, flaky, scab like appearance to it. I think it may be a form of eczema. I’ve been using Nizoral cream (w/ ketoconazole) It works, and after a few days the rash has gone but it keeps coming back every few weeks.

Thanks all for your answers. I’ve been to my doctor about it, he said it’s a form of eczema. I’ve been using the cream he prescribed for me. I use it, it goes away then it comes back again. usually in a 3 week period. I keep my face clean, I wash it daily using a soap free face wash and mositurizer ( loreal for men kind)
I think I’ll go see a dermatologist about it. Who said it was aids? lol
anyways thanks everyone

I am 10w5d and for the last few days have had lower back pain accompanied by cloudy urine with white looking flakes. I do not have a fever so I am wondering if this is an infection. I have an appointment in 5 days with my doctor, can this wait until then? I have been drinking cranberry juice all day just in case.

I have a pretty bad case of tinea versicolor which is those white blotches that some people notice on their skin after laying in the tanning bed or something like that. It covers my shoulders, upper arms, chest, and I have a few on my face. :( It really bothers me so I stopped tanning altogether in the hopes that they would fade. I haven’t tanned at all in over 2 months and they are still there and I actually think they are spreading. First I got some Ketoconazole lotion from the derm. and used it for a few weeks with no results. Then I started trying remedies from the internet. I used Nizoral shampoo and left it on my skin for a while and then washed it off. After I washed it off I put on some clotimazole cream(a suggestion by a pharmacist). After a few days of trying this solution, I noticed extremely dry skin that was red and almost looked sore-like or burn-like. I immediately stopped using the medicines all-together. A week later I still have the white spots and the "burns." HELP!
Also- I am leaving for a cruise on Thursday and I really would like to be able to relax and lay in the sun, but I don’t want either the white blotches or the "burns" to get worse.(and a side note about the "burns": it’s everywhere where I put the medicines and my skin is really rough and hard feeling. It’s not red all over, but there are red "lesions" in different parts of the dry skin.) Also, I am leaving for college in about two weeks and really, really want all of this gone so I don’t have to worry about it up there. Any information would be helpful, but please don’t give me any remedies that could make the situation worse as the last remedy did. Thank you for your time!
All of these treatments are for the tinea versicolor. What can I do to get rid of the dry skin and "lesions"?

my dog has valley fever, but the vet has very little knowledge of the disease. i had to insist on a test since they were convinced he had kennel cough and a neck injury that was causing lameness. however, my dog is a parson jack russell and weighs 25 pounds. he is currently taking diflucan 50mg twice a day; is this the right dose? he was on ketoconazole 100mg twice a day for three weeks. he was doing well and was up and moving around much better. since he went on the diflucan a few days ago his lameness and twiches has increased greatly. i increased his dose of diflucan to 100mg twice a day now…since i won’t be able to get to the vet for a few days. also, how long should his lameness continue? thanks…

For as long as i can remember, ive had very dry skin on my scalp, ive tried all sorts and had more or less given up until my doctor suggested a ketoconazole shampoo. I wasnt convinced because i had tried them before, however the one i ended up with was perfect, totally solved the problem. It was called Ketopine.

When i ran out, i was given another prescription for ketoconazole shampoo, this time though, the pharmacist gave me Nizoral, and within a few days i have a bad scalp again.

Although they both have the same amount of ketaconazole in them, their ingredients vary.

Is it possible that something in the Nizoral is irritating my scalp or should they both be the same?

Thanks

About a month or so ago, I realized that my hair was thinning in the front, so I went to a Dermo. He said that it was probably male pattern baldness, but that my scalp was pretty dry, so he gave me this shampoo called Ketoconazole. I’ve been using it everyday (like he said), since, and my head improved, but now the past few days it has been extremely itchy. I told my mom to look at it and she said that it looks better than before, and not irritated or anything. It’s a really bad itch that feels like its going right down the middle of my scalp, and I don’t know why. I just took a shower, too.

I’m a 17 year old male, and I’ve also been taking GNC Nourishair vitamins and eating a ton of protein. My hair’s thickness has improved, but I want to get rid of this itch!

Thanks!

i had this intense itch, redness n whitish-yellowish discharge a few months ago, after a few days it subsided. i hope that it would eventually go away, but after months, the whitish-slightly yellowish discharge still remains, though the itching only occurs when the discharge accumulate too much in my underwear. otherwise, minimal itching, the swelling is not there too. i think it has gotten quite mild, but i wanted it to disappear completely.

after i went to see a gynae, he told me it’s most probably vaginal candidiasis and gave me a 150mg fluconazole(diflucan) tablet. it’s been two days now since i’ve taken it. how long will it take to clear up? what are the signs that the infection is receding? (remember my infection is not so serious) and how many days should i wait before i go to see the doctor again if it does not clear up?

I’m a medical student, have a pen-torch which i use with a mirror to see into my vagina. today there are still patches of whitish mucus in my vaginal, how long will it take for it to clear up?
it just happened out of the blue, not on any contraceptives pills or anything like that. 1 150mg fluconazole tablet is supposedly enough for vaginal candiasis( written on the information paper of the tablet)

I’ve had a sinus infection for two and half months and have been on two antibiotics now and still have this infection, does anyone know how to get rid of these in a matter of a few days? Thanks SO much!

i think tampons may have given me a yeast infection. it’s been treated and the symptoms seem to have went away this past wednesday night.
when can i start using tampons again?
my next period should be in a few days to a week.
