plz suggest some remedy 4 the fungal infection of toe nail?

my toe nail got infected a few months back , it became darker in colour , now i have cut that nail but i dont know which ointment should i use to treat that fungal infection ,plz suggest me
something,i cant wear sandals just b;coz my foot looks ugly due 2 that nail

my 1 yr old nephew started losing his hair about 3-4 weeks ago. his mom took him to the doc and they said it was a fungal infection or something. they gave him an ointment which didnt seem to help. now he has a bad rash all over his back and an ear infection. took him back to the doc and he prescribed a stronger medication… anything else it could be?

Medical Help Needed: Dr.s can't figure out why I keep getting fungal infections caused by tinea and others.

In the past 2 years, I have had 5 cases of tinea versicolor, vaginal candidiasis at least 6 times and now, and now I have my 1st case of tinea capitis. My husband has never had a fungal infection and I am averaging 6 per year!! I am tired of being on anti-fungal medicine (they are hard on the liver and cause dizziness, and besides, I can’t kick back with a beer while on them!). My PCP and ObGYN do not seem to think these are a lot of fungal infections.

I eat very healthy (no red meat- only fish, fruits, veggies, grains), I am a jogger, I am meticulously clean (wash hands often with soap and water, change out of running clothes right away, LOVE showers, etc.) and I can’t understand why I am plagued with fungus.

I want to know
1. Is there a doctor out there who has ideas as extraneous factors that can be causing all of this?
2. Are there patients out there who have experiences with recurring fungal infections?

I am not a member of a health club so I am not using other equipment that is shared by many people. At yoga class I use my own mat. I dry myself well after showers.

I have not been on antibiotics in I-don’t-know-how long. Just anti-fungal meds.

Fungal Infection…Need Help?

I have a fungal infection from my chin down to my hips and some on my face. I went to my doctor and he gave me an antifungal creme but it didnt work. I made another appointment but its not for 3 weeks and Im out of medicine. I tried Tenactin and Gold Bond but I can’t tell if its making a difference. Any advice would be great as I can’t go to work or hold my daughter. Please help.

I cant afford to see a doctor. At first i thought it was eczama but i heard it could be a fungal infection. I have itchy bumps and when its bad my skin hardens and cracks on my palms and between my fingers. A friend recommended amoxcicillin that you can get from a pet store. ive got a fungal infection on my head and my hair has fallen out so its just a patch about the size of a coin without any hair and looks weird.

ive been to the doctors loads of times and they keep giving me the same medicine even though it doesnt have any affect.
