i tried whiping it gently with a washclothe, but it doesnt come off. Does thrush make babies fussy? Are there any over the counter meds for thrush?

My mum has been diagnosed with thrush. (She has had a painful mouth and a constant cough since last October!) Besides the meds to swish around and swallow, is there anything she can do to get to feeling better, promote healthing, or avoid this problem from returning?

The Dr.s are being very hush hush, he was never on any meds while in the HIV stage…but is now very sick. My employer needs dates in order for me to get time off of work and I’m curious just how much longer my brother may live, if anyone has dealt with this…please help!
