I’m 16, and am pretty sure I have a yeast infection. I don’t live with my mom, and I don’t want to tell my dad to go buy anything and I can’t drive. I think it’d be weird to tell anyone to go buy anything for it.. So what could I do to cure this or if you have to buy something what do you get for it? Help please. I don’t want it to get worse.
i have this rash type spot on the side of my ring finger. its not spreading and i thought this was weird, i asked my anatomy teacher and she said it is most likely a fungal infection. if i put neosporin on it it will go away while i have a band aid over it, but then comes right back. she told me to get an anti-fungal so i asked my mom to pick one up. all she could find with "anti-fungal" on it is tinactin. ive been putting it on, it says to use it twice a day, i usually forget and put it on once, and sometimes skip a couple days. ive been doing this for a couple weeks now and there is no improvement. is it really a fungal infection? does tinactin not work for any fungal infection besides athlete’s foot? do i just need to put it on twice a day for a while?
i dont want to have to go to the doctor. im cheap.
its on my ring finger, as in the finger next to my pinky. i dont have a ring.
I’ve been "hacking up mucus" for 6 months, and my mom finally took me to the doctor for an xray. My whole right sinus is all filled up. I’m taking a sickining medicine, which takes about two weeks to work, but this one is a chronia sinus infection. I am 11 years old. I am also taking nasal spray. How long will this go away in? Do I need surgrey? Sorry, i’m a hypocondriac!
Okay I went to the dermatologist a couple days ago and I showed him my skin on my stomach and lower back. I have spots that are a lighter tone than my skin tone. I’ve had this problem since as I was a little kid like 7 years old but me and my mom always thought it would just go away. Now i’m 16 and it seems to have spread a bit more. I have it on my chest, stomach and lower back. My dermatologist prescribed me a ketoconazole cream to be applied twice daily. I have been doing so but I was wondering if my skin tone will ever be even and if so how long will it take for me to see results?
PS: My dermatologist never said I have Tinea versicolor but I went online and googled the kenoconazole cream he prescribed me for the "skin discoloration" and I came across a site about tinea versicolor. I looked at the photos and automatically realized that is what I have.
I have a yeast infection. I am treating with Monistat. But before I used the medicine today, besides your normal signs, my mom told me that these symptoms are also of a yeast infection. Bloating, nausea, pukeing on long car rides or from the smell of coffee, spotting, and being really tired. I think these other symptoms are signs of pregnancy, not related to my yeast infection. What do you think?
I’m not sure but have a hunch that my mom’s soil has some kind of fungus or something in it. Every year her yearling colts get almost like a rain rot type fungus (where the skin scabs off and they lose the hair there) we treat it with idodine and fungus cream. Then it never comes back. Her dog had some fungus infection as a puppy, and mine stayed over a few weeks in her yard and their bellys turned from white to black! It was weird… after they came home the color slowly went back to normal. My rottweiler’s skin got really flakey while there too… back to normal when they came home. Now she has a new bulldog and a litter of puppies and they are getting some kind of fungal infection on their feet. It just seems to coincidental to me. It clears up, but I was just wondering if anyone else had heard of a soil contamination of fungus and what kind it might be?
My 4 month old’s ear was red on the inside and his brother and mother kept licking and cleaning it. so we went to the vet and he said it was a fungi ear infection and put him on drops for 10 days. but I was just wondering how the lil guy could have got this and if I should watch mom & brother. if they can catch it from him.
He is a Lab. hasn’t been in water or had a bath in a month. no other health issues.
the vet said not to clean his ears until he was done with the drops.
also can my other 2 dogs catch this from him?
About a month or so ago, I realized that my hair was thinning in the front, so I went to a Dermo. He said that it was probably male pattern baldness, but that my scalp was pretty dry, so he gave me this shampoo called Ketoconazole. I’ve been using it everyday (like he said), since, and my head improved, but now the past few days it has been extremely itchy. I told my mom to look at it and she said that it looks better than before, and not irritated or anything. It’s a really bad itch that feels like its going right down the middle of my scalp, and I don’t know why. I just took a shower, too.
I’m a 17 year old male, and I’ve also been taking GNC Nourishair vitamins and eating a ton of protein. My hair’s thickness has improved, but I want to get rid of this itch!
Thanks!
I have this feeling that I have to use the bathroom but I can’t seem to go. My mom thinks that it’s a bladder infection, but I really don’t know. Can you tell me what you feel before a bladder infection?
My brother keeps getting low grade fevers and my mom does not know why, we will take him to the doc. tomorrow. But he does have severe athletes foot on both feet, and I mean severe like bleeding and redness all over. I explained that to my mom…. I guess we will find out Tomorrow.
