I’m almost about to loose my mind over this. Its been almost a year. I started out with really bad itching and white discharge. After a while the discharge went away but the itching did not. I went to my gyno and he told me that if looks like an infection gave me some treatment (vagina suppositories, and some medication to take orally). I ddint feel any itching while i was taking the medication but as soon as i stopped the itching returned.
I went to another doctor a couple more times she gave my diflucan and flagyl.I went to another doctor just recently and he told me that it looks like some type of fungus…..He game me Ketoconazole and flagyl…
It seemed to be working but as soon as i finished taking it i started itching. I’ve been in doctor’s office almost every month for almost a year. And still no relif…I was tested for clamidya,HIV and some other STI’s everything came back normal. What can this be?

I havent had sex since before I started itching and I dont intend to until this goes away..but what can this be?

i had this intense itch, redness n whitish-yellowish discharge a few months ago, after a few days it subsided. i hope that it would eventually go away, but after months, the whitish-slightly yellowish discharge still remains, though the itching only occurs when the discharge accumulate too much in my underwear. otherwise, minimal itching, the swelling is not there too. i think it has gotten quite mild, but i wanted it to disappear completely.

after i went to see a gynae, he told me it’s most probably vaginal candidiasis and gave me a 150mg fluconazole(diflucan) tablet. it’s been two days now since i’ve taken it. how long will it take to clear up? what are the signs that the infection is receding? (remember my infection is not so serious) and how many days should i wait before i go to see the doctor again if it does not clear up?

I’m a medical student, have a pen-torch which i use with a mirror to see into my vagina. today there are still patches of whitish mucus in my vaginal, how long will it take for it to clear up?
it just happened out of the blue, not on any contraceptives pills or anything like that. 1 150mg fluconazole tablet is supposedly enough for vaginal candiasis( written on the information paper of the tablet)

Me&my boyfriend had anal and vaginal sex. He putted it in my anus just for couple seconds and then put it back in my vagina. it was unprotected. and i heard i could get an infection. Is there any foods i should eat or any way i could cure it if i have an infection? I need help, doctors isn’t an option for me.

Hello there, i have to write a little something for school, and one of the things i have to write is " how to get a fungal infection", i did some research on the internet, but i don’t think that washing a vagina with soap is the only way to get a fungal infection.

This is a kind of irritation around the vagina. One gets unusual discharge, that sometimes smells like bread because of the yeast. There is an itchy feeling, and burning sensation when passing urine. it is really painful at times and even being sexually intimate is a problem. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
