She must see a doctor…it won’t go away on it’s own. It isn’t ‘dangerous’ per say..but it does have to do with her immune system…it is a fungus..and not good for any child or person.

Make sure you give her probiotic yogurt or probiotics for toddlers from health food store when she is taking the medication.

It is very common…so don’t worry about it…but you just have to get the right meds from the doctor or clinic.

    Take care.

My oldest son had thrush on & off until he was almost 3. That was when he gave up his paci. Take her to the doctor and they can give her some meds that will clear it up within a few days! Do not prolong the rs. appt. it will only make it worse!

You need to take her to the doctor my daughter had it when she was a baby they will treat it with medication. It is some form of a yeast infection in your mouth. That is about all i can remember but she was put on meds because i kept a diary she got this at 16 months.

It isnt dangerous but she does need to see a doctor. As someone else said it is a yeast infection. You should give her some probiotics, they help with the digestive tract and can help reduce the yeast in her body which is causing it.

If you take her to the doctors they will give you medicine that you coat their tongue and mouth with before and after they eat. It’s not a big deal as long as you get it taken care of. It’s painful for them so the sooner the better. My daughter got it from the dog licking her mouth. She got it when she had just turned 1 and now will be 4 next month with that being the only incident. So once she gets on the medicine it should go away within a couple of days and everything will be fine.
