I have an ear infection and I got prescribed steriods, will the steriods make the infection grow more?
My teeth chipped and my dentist prescribed me steriods to help enable the enamel to grow. I’m feeling an ear infection coming on and I’m scared the steriods will make it the infection worse. I get chronic ear infections so they normally just go away. But I don’t want the steriods to make the infection worse and then have to go to the doctor and get antibiotics. Will they make it worse? What should I do?

No, steroids will not cause an infection. they are usually prescribed to get rid of inflammation.
