What are the symptoms of a yeast infection?
I don’t think I’ve ever had one and I don’t want to make a doctors appointment if its just a yeast infection.

Symptoms of a yeast infection are a thick, chunky discharge, itchiness, and a bad smell. There are over the counter meds to treat this. If you have never been diagnosed with one you really should go to the Dr to make sure it’s not something else.
Symptoms of BV are a thin, watery discharge and a strong fishy smell. You have to get antibiotics for this.
The pharmacy sells a test kit to find out if it is a yeast infection or something else.
It varies from person to person, My personal experience was it itches like hell!!! and burns when you urinate. There is also a thick white discharge.

you are best to go to the doctors and if its a yeast infection it should be still taken care off.
dont be afraid to go to the doctor it may be uncomfortable but it may be worth it incase its sumin else.
